National Day Parade - Nomination of Cadet Participants.
The National Day Parade 2008 will be held on 9 August 2008 at the Marina Bay Floating Stage. NPCC is allowed to send in 71 cadets for participation of the parade.
Participants must be medically fit, not overweight and be between 1.6m - 1.8m in height.
Each school can only nominate ONE cadet as our representative. If you are interested in taking part in this prestigeous event (you will be seen on TV by the whole of Singapore!), please send me a email or see me to sign up.
Practices and rehearsals will commence on 17 May 2008.

Reminders
1. Cadet Service Sheets / Sec 1 Swearing In Ceremony
All Sec 1s and new Sec 2s, please be reminded to submit your cadet service sheets. We will need it for Sat's event. In addition, on saturday (18th Apr), please be in school by 8.30am to board the school bus. Attire will be SCHOOL UNIFORM. You will be dismissed from Whitley Secondary School latest by 12.30pm.
Cadets who have not handed in the cadet service sheets: Clement Lee, Jun Han, Marc, Grace, Tanuja and Nishanthee.
2. Uniform Sizing for new Sec 1/2s and current Sec 3s (2nd set of uniform)
Please be reminded to gather in the concourse by 2pm tomorrow as the tailors will be here to get your sizes for the uniforms.
3. Combined Uniform Groups Bowling Championship
Are you good at bowling? If you are interested, please sign up on our unit notice board! More details can be found on our unit notice board or the organiser's website: http://www.hci.edu.sg/npcc/ugbc/

Founders' Day, NPCC Annual Parade & Sec 1 Swearing in Ceremony
1. Founders' Day (11 Apr)
Our school's Founders' Day will be held this coming Friday in school. As the whole school will be preparing for the event, all CCAs on Friday will be cancelled. Thus, there will be no weekly parade this Friday.
6 of our cadets will be involved as the Guard of Honour for the event. They are:
Joshua Tan (5HP)
Suriani (5GR)
Ashley Yap (3LV)
Shamala (3HP)
Edmund Kiew (3HP)
Alex Phoon (3TH)
The above cadets, please note that you will be released from class at 12 noon for the Founders' Day rehearsal tomorrow (Wed).

The NPCC Annual Parade 2008 will be this coming Saturday, 12 April 2008, 6.00pm at Home Team Academy. The details are as follow:
Reporting Time and Venue for Participants and Cadet Spectators
Participants:
Reporting Time at Catholic High School: 12 noon
Attire: Half Uniform, to bring Full Uniform
Estimated Time of Departure from HTA: 8.30pm
Spectators:
Reporting Time at Catholic High School: 3.15pm
Attire: Full Uniform
Estimated Time of Departure from HTA: 7.00pm
3. Sec 1 Swearing In Ceremony and SI promotion Ceremony (19 Apr)
THe Sec 1 Swearing in Ceremony has been postponed to 19th Apr (Sat) at Whitley Secondary School. All Sec 1s and new Sec 2s are to attend this combined Area 4 event.
Sec 1s and new Sec 2s who have yet to submit your cadet service sheets are to see Ms Yip as soon as possible.
The results of the Station Inspector interview by our Area Commandant has been released. We are glad to share with you that NCOs Priscilla Koh and Kah Seng will be promoted to the rank of Station Inspector on the same day. Congrats to the both of them!

Dear all,
We have much to thank for.
Our campcraft team came in 9th in the Finals yesterday. It is our first time in the Finals and the boys really learnt alot. All this will not be possible if not for the hard work and dedication of the particpating cadets and their trainers - CIs / HOs. Thank you! Here are some photos:

The Everland drama production also went well in Jubilee Hall, Raffles Hotel last night and our cadets acting as toy soldiers grabbed the limelight when they appeared! Here are some photos:

NPCC Annual Parade Cadet Supporters (12 April SAT)
Attn: All Sec 2-5 cadets
As many of you would know, the National Police Cadet Coprs is organising the NPCC Annual Parade 2008. The parade will be held on 12 April 2008, Saturday at the Home Team Academy.
Each school is allocated only 5 places for spectators for this parade. You will be sitting with other Area 4 representatives from each unit. Please drop me an sms or email me at yip_siew_min@kcpss.moe.edu.sg asap to book these tickets. I need to submit the names by tomorrow.
Attire will be full uniform and transport will be provided to and fro. You are to report at the pick up point at 3.15pm as the bus will leave punctually at 3.30pm. The entire event will end at about 6.45pm and the buses will be arranged to pick up the cadets at 7pm.
For your information, we have 6 cadets in the marching contingent for this parade! Jacquelyn, Jasmine, Manju, Amelia, Nasir and Zhe Yi are our school reps for this annual parade and they have been training very hard. Please show them your support by attending the parade! =)
