Hi!

Dear cadets,

I understand that many of you are asking when CCA will resume, please continue to wait for further updates. Meanwhile, you can do some revision of your campcraft knots and lashings at home... remember, promotion tests will be carried out in oct!

Passing Out Parade for the graduating cadets will either be carried out on 18th July or 25th July. Both are saturdays. We will keep you updated when the date will be until we get clearance to resume CCA.

One good news to share! Ashley Yap (4LV) has done excellently well during the National .22 Shooting Competition to come in as one of the top 10 shooters among 626 female shooters during the preliminary rounds! She will be competiting in the Finals next Tuesday. Please wish her all the best!

In addition, as many of you would know, I will be stepping down as OC Unit and my last day of work will be next Friday (17th July). Mr Lee will be stepping up as the OC Unit and Mr Romzee as the unit adjutant. Ms Jasline Pan will be joined by another teacher officer, Ms Faye Tan who will also be the co-teacher in charge of the Sec 1 squad. Please give her a warm welcome when you see her.

It's been great working with the CIs and NCOs to run this UG for all of you. I will miss every single one of you very much. Please continue to strive for excellence and serve the unit with pride. I wish you all the best in whatever you do. I hope to hear wonderful updates about our unit's achievements when I am in Japan. All of you will be in my prayers.

God Bless,
Ms Yip
