1. SEC 2 .22 Revolver Dry Shoot @ Tanglin Police Station
This is a compulsory training when you get to learn how to shoot a real .22 revolver without using live bullets. The police trainers will teach you how to load the bullets and shoot safely. If you miss this dry shoot, you will not get to shoot the real bullets on the 5th.
Date: 1st Aug (Fri)
Attire: School Uniform
Reporting Time: 2.30pm outside General Office
*One Way Transport provided. You will go home from Tanglin Police Station on your own after the training at 5.00pm

2. Passing Out Ceremony for Sec 4/5 NCOs
This day marks the official passing out of your Sec 4/5 seniors who will be focusing on their O and N level exams. If you are unable to attend this ceremony, please let Ms Yip know asap as we will be ordering food for everyone.

Attire: Full Uniform
Reporting Time: 8.00am @ Parade Square
Dismissal Time: 12.30pm

3. Sec 2 .22 Live Shoot
Date: 5th Aug (Tue)
Attire: Full Uniform
Reporting Time: 2.15pm outside the General Office (You will be excused from lessons at 1.40pm to change and have lunch.)
Dismissal Time: 6.00pm
Transport will be provided to and from Home Team Academy

SERVICE DAY - 18th July

Attn: All Sec 1-3 cadets

This coming Friday is NPCC Service Day!

Reporting Time: 2.15pm
Reporting Attire: Full Uniform
CIP hours: 3.5 hours
Duty: To educate Bishan residents on Crime Prevention tips, esp to the Eldery. Each of you will receive a crime prevention booklet to give out to the residents as you visit HDB flats in your Full Uniform.

Online SANA project - updated 14th July

All Sec 2 cadets who have attended the SANA course, you are reminded to submit the online project by 25th July (Fri). No late submissions will be enterained by NPCC HQ.

Cheers to ATC participants!

To all cadets who participated in the ATC,

I hope that it was an enriching experience for all of you and that you have made new friends and grown closer to your own squad mates. Despite the "downs" during the camps, I hope that you will learn from mistakes made and bask in the glow of the "ups" you have experienced during the camp. You have gone through a camp which can only be experienced by an npcc cadet in area 4 and I hope that you will treasure the experience. It is not often you have the chance to be at this campsite which was built specially for cadets of npcc only.

By going through all the activities (with so few of you in the medic room), we are proud of you. Keep up the spirit and continue to do our unit proud. All of you deserve your ATC/Survival badges.

Adventure Training Camp

Attn: All Sec 2 and 3 cadets going for ATC,

Please gather at the back of the parade square OR hall after assembly as I will be opening up the NPCC room for you to store your camping bags before your lessons.

At 12.25pm, you are excused from your class to store your school bags in the NPCC room and take your camping bags. Have lunch and change into your PT kit. The bus will be here at 1.15pm and we need to reach Changi Jetty by 2.00pm.

Thus, we need everyone's cooperation to be punctual and on time.

The school bus will bring you back to school on Sunday and we will open up the NPCC room for you to take your school bags.

Reminder - report in normal school uniform for lessons tomorrow.

Sec 2 NPCC Police Heritage Center Visit

Date: 9th July 2008 (Wed)

Reporting Time: 3.30pm outside the General Office

Reporting Attire: School Uniform (Bring along Ezlink card for registration)

Dismissal Time: 5.30pm dismissed from Police Heritage Center

*Note: The Police Heritage Center is just beside Novena Square. Thus, you can access to Novena MRT station easily.

CPL Theory Test

ATTN: 8 Cadets who are taking the CPL Theory Test.

Unit Updates and Reminders

Attn: All cadets,

Please take note of the following:

1. NPCC Service Day has been postponed by the NPCC HQ to 18th July. Thus, this Friday we will have normal parade. Sec 1s who still have uniform problems, pls bring along your uniforms for uniform exchange this Friday.

2. Area Games Day has been postponed to 16th August as the other schools are involved in the MOE Excel Fest tihs Sat. However, this date is to be confirmed as it is in the midst of your Common Test exams and I am trying to see if we can change to a more suitable date in August.

3. 1 star kayaking course. I have booked the course with Changi Sea Sports Club for 2nd and 3rd of Sept (Tues & Wed). The cost of the course will be $50. After a $10 subsidy from the school, each of you have to pay $40 which can be deducted from your Edusave. Please sign up as soon as possible on the Unit notice board as I need to pass you the consent forms for processing.

4. Adventure Training Camps. Thank you to all cadets who have submitted your forms on time. The following cadets are to hand in your consent forms by Friday, latest.
