1. Catholic High Inter-Unit City Venture 2008
The Catholic High School organizes the City Venture competition annually. This year, it will be held on this coming Sat, from 9am to 5pm.
Our school has been taking part every year and for the past 2 years, we've been in the Top 5 postitions. Usually, we send in senior cadets or NCOs for this competition. However, this year, many of them are involved in either Annual Parade, Campcraft Competition Finals or Everland Production.
Thus, I am appealing for any group of five Sec 1 and above cadets to sign up for this competition to represent our school.
This exciting competition requires participants to plan and to travel to checkpoints spread all over the island by means of public transport. If you are keen to get CCA points for participation in a competition and get the chance to travel around Singapore with your friends, sign up for it by tommorrow! The form will be pasted on the NPCC notice board or see me personally to sign up.
2. National Campcraft Competition Finals
The finals will be carried out this sat, from 8am to 11am in Home Team Academy in Old Choa Chu Kang road. The entire unit is encouraged to go down to support our campcraft team if you are free this sat. A form will be put up for you to sign up if you are keen to go as we have vaccancies on the bus for 25 supporters.
Thank you,
Ms Yip

Good News!!!
Dear NPCC family,
I am happy to share with you that our NPCC campcraft teams have done very well during the Preliminary Rounds!
The boys team have emerged Top 10 out of 160+ school teams in Singapore and have qualified for the Finals which will be held in Home Team Academy on 5th April 2008 (Sat) from 8.00am to 11.00am. The girls team emerged 53th placing out of 140+ schools. This is a big improvement as compared to 2006 when the boys team got 65th placing and girls team got 87th placing.
All officers (TOs, HOs, CIs) are VERY proud of both teams who are a testimony of how hard work and focus breeds success. I hope that all of you can continue to strive for the best in all activities, be it NPCC or school work to do the unit and school proud. Every single one of you have a important role to play, to help bring up our unit by trying your very best in everything you do.
I will like to sincerely thank the HOs, CIs, campcraft team, supporters, well-wishers and everyone who has helped, in one way or another for these 4 months of training!

Attn: All cadets
Please take note of the following:
1. Fill up the "Update Particulars" form and submit to Ms Yip as soon as possible. To date, I still have many of you who have yet to hand in to me. If you do not have the form, please come and get it from Ms Yip's pigeon hole.
2. For Sec 2-5 cadets, please check that you can fit into your uniform. Those with problems, please write down details of your problems with your full name and class on foolscap paper and drop it into Ms Yip's pigeon hole. If there are more than 10 of you, we'll make arrangements to bring you to HQ to purchase the necessary items. This is especially important for Sec 3s who are going for live shoot next month.
3. For those who were absent during the last parade, please submit your MCs / letters to any of the Teacher Officers PERSONALLY. DO NOT drop the letter into Ms Yip's pigeon hole.
4. For those of you who are using Facebook, we have started our own unit facebook account. It is NOT compulsory for you to join. For those who are interested, search for npcckcp@gmail.com. Only present and ex cadets of KCPSS NPCC will be allowed to join.
Thank you.
Regards,
Ms Yip
