Area 4 Games Day Achievements!

Here's a summary of our achievements:

1. Badminton
Girls' Singles: Second
(P Vigneswari 2TH)

Mixed Doubles: Second
(Priscilla Koh 2LV, Reagan Teh 3HP)

2. Soccer
Second
(Amos Lim 3JY, Glenn Koh 3JY, Teo Teng Yew 3JY, Lester Wong 3LV, Tay Pei Jie 3LV, G Pratipkumar 3LV, Percy Chan 3PC, Nicholas Lee 3HP, Sivaprakash 2HP and Satish Kumar 2GR.)

During the Finals, the match ended at the score of 1-1. However, our school lost out to the Catholic High team during penalty shoot out at the score of 2-1.

3. Floorball
Second
(Chester Liew 4JY, Kevin See Toh 4JY, Darren Chia 4TH, Betram Khoo 3TH, Clarence Lim 2JY and Ang Qi Xiang 2TH)

We lost 1-0 to Catholic High in the Finals, it was a very close fight!

4. .177 Air Rifle Shooting Competition (hosted earlier in Catholic High School on 12th July)

We are very proud of their achievements as we actually manage to do so well despite the fact that we do not have any professional training! In addition, this is a mixed team event in which each school can send teams that comprise of girls and boys. And our female cadet, Xiang Jun, actually scored the highest among all the participants and was awarded the Best Shooter Award for this competition!

The trophies and awards will be presented to the above cadets on Friday.

In addition, the results of all these Area 4 games/competitions will be converted into score points - 3pts (1st), 2pts (2nd), 1pt (3rd). These points are added up and tallied at the end of year and the school with the highest score will be awarded the prestigeous Area 4 Challenge Shield. Currently, our school is at a tie with Catholic High at a score of 12 pts and we are just 1pt behind Peirce Sec with the highest score of 13pts. There are still 2 more Area 4 competitions in August and we'll hope for the best!
