ATC/STC

Attn: All sec 2/3 cadets

The ATC/STC will be held on Friday, 02/07/2010. Assemble by 1315hrs outside the General Office in your PT Kit and your camping bags. You will be excused from chapel time. You can place your school bags in the NPCC room. Your NCO Cantona will be in-charge of the keys. The bus will leave the school at 1330 hrs sharp. If you have not submitted your consent form and indemnity form to your respective squad ICs, do so by tomorrow if not you will not attend the camp.

If you are not able to attend the camp. Submit an excuse letter/mc to Mr Lee or Mr Ho before the next parade. Cadets absence without valid reasons will not be eligible for their upcoming promotion test.

Before the camp, for those of you who have long hair, cut it. Those with long fingernails, cut it and let me emphasize this point on NO ANKLE SOCKS are allowed. Those wearing spectacles, remember your spectacle hooks.

Here's the camp kit list. Do not bring any items not stated in the kit list. Also, avoid bring too much cash.

1. Identification Card / Bus pass

2. A ball of twine + Scissors

3. Torchlight (with spare batteries)

4. School / canvas shoes (min. 2 pairs, one for water activity with intact soles)

5. Sandals / slippers (for bathing purposes only)

6. Wind breaker (optional)

7. Poncho (Green colour)

8. 1.5 litres water bottle (filled) [Label it with your name]

9. Can opener

10. Fork and spoon (METAL)

11. Insect repellant (Optional) *mosquito coils not allowed

12. Plastic bags (For dirty clothes etc)

13. Rags (Area cleaning)

14. Thermometer

15. Attire

· School T-shirt / Plain White T-shirt [No logo(s)] / NPCC T-shirt ONLY

· Blue/Black/ White Long sleeve T-shirt (Sec 3s)

· School shorts ONLY (water activities)

· White Singlet for girls

· Pure Black / Dark Blue track pants (Minimum 2)

· Plain white socks / School Socks (No ankle socks)

· Undergarments (Sufficient sets)

· Hair accessories (black)

· Swimming attire (one-piece for girls for water activity)

Wet Activity Attire:

- T-shirt and school shorts (Sec 2s)

- 1 Dark-blue / Black Long sleeve T-shirt and track pants (Sec3)

- Dark-blue / Black T-shirt or Long sleeve T-shirt with swimming attire underneath (For all girls)

16. Toiletries

· Towel

· Toothbrush & Toothpaste

· Shampoo/Soap

17. Spectacle hooks / band (compulsory for campers who wear spectacles)

[Strictly no contact lens, spectacle bands are advised for water activities]

*** All Cadets are advised to follow the Camp Kit List strictly. Items that are not stated in the Camp Kit List will be confiscated. Please approach your Unit Instructors if you have any enquiries.
